staring into a crowd
feelings of belittlement
faces there, lives unknown
emotions of love, happiness and sadness
problems of the times apparent
ocassional smirks and fits of laughter
cries and disgust hidden deep
creased clothes and groomed hair
inside deep hurt and thoughts of despair
society suffers under a goal of bliss
seek the wonderful, hope to succeed
realize the truth, prepare for it, understand it
truth is quiet, appearances are loud
I see these things, staring into a crowd
