Ok, it's an old one but new to most of you. Right Triangle The learned Greek, Pythagoras, declared This basic rule of plane geometry: The length of its hypotenuse, when squared (The learned Greek, Pythagoras, declared) To sum of squares of other sides compared, That absolutely equal they would be. The learned Greek, Pythagoras, declared This basic rule of plane geometry. |

Very cool triolet you got there, Pete! Of course, being the math teacher that I am, I was compelled to read this! Good job! Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end... |

Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. As I confessed, this is an old one. But since I can't seem to write anything new recently, and since we have such an eager (and talented) group of new members in CA, I thought I should at least try to participate. I wrote a set of these little things a couple of years ago and they really are fun to do although they can be more of a challenge than first appears. Maybe I'll resurect more if I can find them. Thanks, Pete P.S. Congratulations, Ladybug, for recognizing the form. |
