(Not my usual style, just trying to summon my muse )


Honey drips
from his fingers,
Sticky sweet
syrup –

gently
stinging my
eyes with its
amber glow.

Sugary lips
coat my heart in
a saccharin web

Motionless,
I melt from
the burn
of the
honey glaze.



Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
