Bells of Christmas

Those clinquant bells of christmas ring
and spirits of the season sing
as wavelets of the tide bring joys
O Angels stir forth every voice

In merry splendour proud and plump
full feasting in one tune and trump
come caroling, jump and rejoice
O Angels stir forth every voice

Remembering the past partake
and let each note a glance awake
mingle, jingle, and make more noise
O Angels stir forth every voice

Linger in the mind and echoe
fill the heart with warmth and glow
In women and men, girls and boys
O Angels stir forth every voice
