I have a theory to which I adhere: When once every million years, The planets and stars come together in harmony To create a most magnificent symphony, Called, ‘The Music of The Spheres.’ This year, is such a year. When all things, and all manner of thought Are brought into synchronous motion, And must be done every so oft’, To keep the universe from explosion. ______ ~Gene It often comes to me at night, When lights are dim, and thoughts are bright, As I ponder what to write, Take pen in hand, and with it make My words appear as no mistake. Guided by a force unknown, I create a new and wondrous poem. ~Gene~ |

I love this Gene. The vision of the planets and stars coming together and playing their celestial music is breathtaking! "A poet is someone who is astonished by everything." - anonymous |

I can just imagine the whole scenerio and it's magnificent. Walking away after it with a whole new aura of thought. Excellent poem, I love it. |
