Standing on the carpet
And facing the crowd's stare,
Feeling out of place and awkward
Amid all the talent there....

And suddenly a young voice
Welcoming me with a smile;
"Come in and find a place to sit!
I hope you stay a while."

The appearance isn't human,
And the color's quite unique,
But his face is warm and friendly,
And a friend is what I seek.

So I gladly take your welcome,
Little Spyro, thanks so much.
And even when it's time to go,
You'll see...I'll be in touch.
