Conversations or Dreams ____________________ "Hi," I said, "How has everyone been?" They all replied, "We've been good." "Grandpop, Dad, Nana, Aunt Dot, how have things been? Poppop...it's nice to finally meet you. Have you guys been watching me...looking out for me? I've tried to do things honestly and with the best intentions. I know you may have been a little disappointed at times, but I'm human. I believe most people have been satsified with my accomplishments on earth. I have to go now. Not to be rude, but I hope that it will be quite some time before I see you again." They said, "It's okay, we understand. We hope you'll be gone for a long time as well. You have a lot to do and more people to meet. There are more good times to be had. We'll see you when it's time." |

This is a very interesting piece...something that has never occurred to me before. Do you really think that in dreams we meet up with people we will see after we have died? Well...this came about through dreams I've had before and just thinking about life after death. I always wondered if when we died we'd be with those that have died before us. I can't say that I necessarily believe that people who are dead come to us in dreams, although that is a pretty interesting topic in itself. |

Great poem, reminds me of my dad, for a month after my dad died, my dreams where filled with just he and I talking. Though I think it was more out of shock, than acctually speaking to the dead. May the light of day always shine during the darkest of nights. |
