******************************

Gusting April wind
Laps up the water puddle
Left from springtime rain

******************************

Crabgrass running free
Laughing at my feeble ploys
From my yard to purge

******************************

Puffy clouds float by
Summon imagination
The Angels playground?

******************************

Poetry is the expression of thoughts which awake the higher and nobler emotions, or their opposites, with words arranged to some accepted convention.........or maybe not! Dennis :^)

Few words, and gigantic thoughts.  Congratulations on a job well done.

MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU,
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND

Three great haiku, Dennis.

The fourth one is kinda weird, though.

Dennis,
I admire your willingness to grow in your abilities though applying yourself to new things.  I am not quite so brave, but like you I do strive for freshness and variety.
You're doing great Brother!! Keep it up!
    Love Ya,   David

Fair point Gene. An over indulgence in the Japanese lust for TINY things.

Dennis, there are no superlatives left for your haiku.  They are always magnificent!  So glad Kaile hunted these up for us!  Nice to think of spring things right now, too!
