Roses Flowers are a lot like life Roses are MY favorite Their bright red shine And fragrant smell Roses have it all Life has good times More often, it seems They're bad A lot like roses Beauty, with thorns My life has had it's thorns I'm sure they're not over, yet But more often, I expect The better times will surface I hope, saying that, I won't regret Life has downfalls Roses do too Where we have Y2K bugs, Roses have affids But then the katy-dids appear Roses create happiness But life has it's good points too Never will we be unhappy If we don't let the roses disappear Flowers, indeed, are a lot like life 'In the garden of life, friends are the flowers' Hope, Alicia A. "In the garden of life, friends are the flowers" Yes this is very true. Liked how you compare life with a rose, although I prefer to still see the beauty of the rose even when the thorns hurt me.  |
