Man and the Common Cold Cold, cold, freezing cold, Feeling very, very old, I think I've caught the common cold. My eyes are tired, my throat is rasping, clammy hands tissues clasping. Nose is dripping, cough is ripping, head is spinning, feels like tripping. Feel so bad, What will I do? God, please, don't let this turn to Flu. |

Jon, this is great, we have all been there, never read a poem about it though. Good punch line. |

John, this brought a smile to my face. Not the situation but your poem about it. Very good. ...Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is.... Black Eagle Oglala Sioux holy man |

John, How well you describe the misery of the cold symptoms. This sure was a cute one and I enjoyed it. Sheila ...the earth and myself are of one mind. The measure of the land and the measure of our bodies are the same........... Joseph, Nez Perce Chief |
