You heard my calling,
As I hear you,
Just sensing when the other is feeling low,
Just knowing we'll never let go.

A ray of light in a dismal day,
A smile, some encouragement, along the way,
One in whom to confide,
One from which you'd never hide..

I never feel alone for I know you are there,
Never fearful for I know you care,
Together we sing our songs in harmony,
A greater understanding? I doubt there could be!!

Destiny herself played a hand,
She reached far, far across the land,
Two unite two souls so similar and true,
Fate herself brought me to you..

I thank her for that,
Each day together a blessing,
Blessed be those of kindred heart,
For now and all eternity.

Others will envy, be jealous even,
They won't understand,
Couldn't if they tried,
Sometimes neither can I.

So blessed be all kindred,
For having such a rare and beautiful gift,
Something so pure and never ending,
Something akin to bliss.

There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self...
