When you were just a tiny bud < !signature-->I knew there was so much love We were bonded so very close With our "God" in heaven above As 'Father Time'passed us by I made mistakes,this is true! But,the very 'essence' of me Was to cherish and love you! I am tired and I am so weary From the 'Heartaches' that i feel My 'Soul',surely has taken its' toll I can not fight your strong will! I have tried so many,many,times To reach far beyond your 'Soul' You have hidden,it so very deep! But,Loving you,is my 'goal' By: Brenda W. u_gene, I appreciate your comments,about my poem,Loving you is my goal! This poem was for my 27 yr.old daughter,that sometimes is disrespectful,but she appreciates everything,I do for her. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to reply,to my first posting,"Loving you is my goal" I enjoyed writing this poem,because it was very close to my Heart and Soul!
