So here I am, alone again In this life, without a man To call my name with lying tongue Yes here I stand, as one, I'm strong So here I am, alone again In this life, a common trend I took the blame for being wronged He sets the tone for my sad song So here I am, alone again In this life, among my friends Who see my pain, yet don't belong In my world I've built for one So here I am, alone again In this life, with outstretched hands For you to claim, set me free From these walls that encase me So here I am, alone again Yes here I stand, on my own, but when Will I feel I'm whole again? Here I am, I drone again Alone again, so alone again |

But you're not alone Angela because I share your pain (believe me). If you ever want to sit around the campfire, roast smores, and bag on men, I'm up for the challenge! This poem really stood out to me, thanks for the read! --Jamie |
