Love and Gratitude - what once was need has become want no longer do i need you, i want you what was borderline desperation has changed to equal enjoyment through your caring, i have grown i've grown to learn things about you and about myself life is not necessarily a single choice, but a series of events i think of you often through each day mostly i feel happiness - always with thought of you brings a smile to my face but the best way to succinctly summarize how you affect me is described as follows: i feel as though the sun has come down and enveloped me in its spherical warmth it doesn't burn or scorch, it promotes my growth and learning it supports me, it keeps me warm during lonely times in the beginning this "sphere" was formed...fragile, easily carried away by a wind, yet i could see the beautiful spectrum of colors in it - like so many bubbles being blown about by a child every time i hear your comforting voice, the sphere grows stronger every time i hear your sweet laugh, the sphere grows more powerful, more durable you have established a position for me in your life i feel confident in this position from my vantage, i am able to see your kindness, your wit, your humor your vulnerability, your intelligence, your sexiness, your cuteness the words you call me...honey...myrowbee...terms of endearment, they make me feel loved...cared for...special... i am not as able to say sweet things, yet you know and still pay me those compliments i love you for everything you are, even your imperfections appeal to me you are a good friend your gentle passion has been good to me you've let me make mistakes and many times i've put my foot in my mouth i am human and can't say the perfect thing at all times, but you know our idiosyncrasies bond us - most feel that our peculiarities are strange through you, i've found haven and reassurance that i am a good person this is the best way for me to demonstrate my gratitude and appreciation all too often, we go a long time without hearing things that we need to hear, you are a good person too God has been good to me, you're a good example of his generosity and love thank you for being a friend |
