Our Love I'd heard people talk of soul-mates and how they "met by fate". They spoke of love so strong that it could overcome all wrong. I'd heard these tales of love sublime, and had to wonder "Where is mine?". Then I was blessed by God above to meet such a man that I could love. Our love was as strong as it was true, but what lay in store neither of us knew. Due to circumstances beyond our control, our love hit a bump and our hearts took the toll. Now here we are "face to face" again, and both of us wonder where to begin. Neither of us knows what the future holds, but "love conquers all" so I've been told. Wise words you use in your first Love can build a bridge to overcome the worst You poem I shall say Is a good start to be on your way I do not know what took you two apart But obviuosly there is something left for a new start Well done and welcome to Passions The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |
