In naked trees Bouquets of green Are held high Against the winter sky Parasitic Bouquets Grated to the trees That hold them In time they will bloom Birds will scatter Their seeds To other trees Creating new beginnings Green petaled bouquets Likewise Keep dreams alive As the hopeful Wish for a kiss Perchance A special creature They meet And greet Under a bough Of mistletoe Superstition? I suppose I have no use for mistletoe And if there's any scientific Use for it I do not know Poisonous parasite Your incaptured Romantic appetites |

I find this stanza particulary interesting. Superstition? I suppose I have no use for mistletoe And if there's any scientific Use for it I do not know good work. I enjoyed the way your words flowed. Ronil (One becomes god only when they have fully understood the role of being a human being.) |

Good poem. It is sad to have no life except that which another supports. Joyce |
