....he tosses hot white coals for her to step on as she wakes from her only peace she doesnt flinch nor dare she cry its indication would only bring him joy but she dare not feel it until times after when others live loving while her feet remain burning she dare not utter a single grievance nor grimace on her face or allow a moment for pain to disarm her she gingerly steps forward feet battered beaten and worn along with her soul mind and heart she will travel alone..... |
