Oh what would this world be today Without friendships true Without them could we survive? I think it would be hard to do What would it be to go through life Without a friendship true Or someone to share our cares Amid the balance of our years Dear beautiful friends How you cheer me so When I'm weary, sick or sad You make my heart So very glad Your smiles, your nods Your kind words doth Make me know That I am loved No matter how ill I feel When I'm feeling thankful I won't forget to say Thank you Lord for friends For without them Life would not be the same Everyone has a specialness A uniqueness all their own That imparts a beauty To my life That I could never have Alone |
