Poor Old Bill Once upon a time, not so long ago, He let his memory slip, he’s always been slow. Poor old Bill knew he was in trouble, He had to act fast, really on the double. He finally remembered his wife’s birthday, At half past eight, no time for delay. So off to mall, it’s almost closing time, The clerk said, Hurry, we close at nine. “I’d like to buy gift to save my life, Do you have a bra that would fit my wife?” That’s something we must closely consider, If not chosen right, she may be very bitter. Is she the size of a grapefruit? Bill said, “That’s not her at all- not her suit.” How about the measure of a tangerine? “Not quite that large, although that’s my dream.” She finally asked, Is it an egg she’s compared to? I hope I haven’t embarrassed you. Poor old Bill looked up and replied, “As a matter of fact, You’re right, but, they’re fried.” |

Good one, Melton. Fried eggs ARE GOOD if eaten whole. lol "The rose, like the cactus flower, protects herself with thorns. We however, impale ourselves on their beauty." |
