dismayed by my reluctance to awake, my fervent desire to remain in my dreams where no reality need to be faced yet humbled by a palm-size kitten succumbed to illness who curls around the hot bottle almost frantically, valiantly fighting for survival does one only treasure life when he sees death's shadow hovering? I hope not [This message has been edited by faterider (edited 03-24-2001).] |

How I hate to wake up in the morning! Interesting thoughts here. I guess more than once I've found dreams more attractive than reality. I suppose that is a common failing among romantics. I'm not clear about the kitten though. Is that in the dream world or the real one? And why is it struggling for survival? Maybe I'm just a bit slow today. Nice to see you here. Thanks for the revision. I like the new ending, too. Good question! To love another person is to see the face of God. |

faterider: Ooh, this is very deep. You've inspired me to think on a Sunday morning...great flow to this. Playing with the purposes of life, and why some treasure every moment, while some wish it just go on without them (if you even understood what I meant there; jumbled expressions this morning). A lot of heavy thought expressed here. Into the library this shall go! ~~Jamie I mean the opposite of what I say. You've got it now? No, it's the other way. ~Bruce Bennett |

i guess i don't mind that much since it is not my kitten and i am not that sentimentally attached to it... but then its death did hit me with a bang:life is far too short... :) [This message has been edited by faterider (edited 03-28-2001).] |

Well, it goes well with what we all know, that we don't treasure things, until they're gone.... So, we should live life to its fullest. Carpe Diem! _,,,^.^,,,_ |
