life thrusts forth
on still frozen earth
finding it's purpose
despite winters cold dirt

joyous days ahead
it hearalds unspoken
to eyes that crave
sites of Gods tokens

gifts of rebirth
lifes hidden treasures
mounting in heaps
against frozen fetters

warmed by the sun
next to snow covered grass
temperatures diversed
a strange contrast

but year after year
life springs forth
replenishing the soul
defining it's worth

God's gift of life
in slow repeat
springs renewal
Winter's defeat

It is indeed a great gift that we can look forward to spring every year. I enjoyed your celebration of the year's renewal.
