"Medicine Wheel"

Coyote walks the windy ridge,
Cedar smell of juniper,
Ancient sentinels,
Ancestral witnesses.
Medicine wheel at my feet,
Four directions beckon me,
To worship.

Evening twilight comes,
Waning moon rises,
Proverbial song echoes,
Shrill soliloquy,
Reckless lonely invitation.
Pray with me,
I am calling.

Thanks Krawdad,

The pub's my place for now. Late night goings-on, and dark corners to lurk in. lol

Welcome to Passions, Coyote.  The Pub is a great place, and this is a wonderful piece, but truth be told, with writing like this, you will be welcomed, and heartily, in any Forum!

Thanks Maree for the beautiful card. It enhances the theme.
Sunshine you are too kind.
I think I'll like it here.
Although my works are often dark,
Darkness does have twilight at both ends.

I appreciate the "method to the madness" in your work too, Andrew.
Thanks for reading.
