Oh how do you make it stop
All of this pain that i feel
How do you make it go away
I don't think it can be for real

Cause i only loved you once
Oh so very long ago
why does it still hurt so much
what is it that i don't know

Can love stick to you
adhering like gum stuck under your feet
following you around in your life
everytime love happen's to meet

Oh come on now this can't be so
It doesn't make any sense
pineing for" a long lost love"
this brain i have must be dense

Eventually i should figure out
That the love came and went
and send it packing with other lost loves
wrapped up in a bow and sent

To the great empty heart wrecking yard
where all your boo boo's hang out
comparing notes on battles faught
hardly heard above all the shouts

So get on done there and quickly too
take all this heartache away fast
cause life was ment for living
I'm so tired of livin in the past

An unstick yourself from my soul
And let me wander free
unattached for now, maybe only to myself
I think it's time i got to know me

It's interesting how memories come back to haunt you long after you thought you were over them. Hope you do spend some time on you. I do like that image of an "empty heart wrecking yard".

To love another person is to see the face of God.
