The frost hardened ground
Is now but a memory
Reclaimed by new life!

Springs subtle rains fall
Waking, foliage takes first sip
Smiles, stretches upward

New colors explode
Rainbow spectrum reclothes earth
Masterful brush strokes

Nice job. I liked the last one best, but I think "foliage" is three syllable.
Still, great descriptions. I absolutely love the Haiku/Senryu format.

I liked this a lot. Very nicely done.....quite serene here.
I could just picture everything.

Dennis,
Thanks for the beautiful bouquet image.
I especially liked- “Smiles, stretches upward”.

A beautiful picture of Spring painted by you! I always enjoy your haikus/senryus! Now, I can't wait for Spring, even though it's almost here

Take care,
Melissa~
