Welcome March Winds
~*~
Raise your pretty springtime whistle
whip the winds throughout the tall pines
as you merrily toss cones to the ground
compelling little squirrels to run round and round
many a wild flower we will see
when you sweep the brown leaves far far away
blowing colorful seeds into ready flower beds
where butterflies and bumble bees anxiously anticipate
whispers of a promise you’ll stay
at least till April showers hold you at bay

How wonderfully delightful! I really enjoyed reading this, gave me a lovely feeling of spring almost here!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Although our seasons are at different times of the year compared to yours, I still love spring best of all as this is the best time for the flowers. thanks for a delightful poem about spring and all of God's creatures.

Dreamy poem here, so breezily colored and brimming with life anew!

"whip the winds throughout the tall pines"

I love this line! The "th" sounds really help this roll of the tongue nicely!

How pretty and joyful this is! It seems spring-time flowers are the best, maybe because we've waited for them so long?

ellie~ Thank you so much sweet lady

jbaker~ So glad you like this. I see you are from Australia. I am sure we experiance a different climate, but what fun we share in the diversity of Gods beautiful creation.

Bob~ Thank you much, glad you like the "feel" of it

Lary~ Thank you much

ksc~ I see you are from up north. You do have to wait a little longer than us Florida folks for a spring flower. I am sure you look forward to many a bloom!
