Mamma said not be like somebody else
"You can model after them
But don't be their carbon copy
They made desicions based on what was
best for them at that time

And won't be happy
Till you do what's best for you"

Mamma told me always to admire from afar
But never take their triumphs
And hold them up as my own

Mamma's listened but ultimatley
Made her own mistakes
Without someone else molding them
Into her brain

Mamma is a wise woman
Despite what the others might say
Mamma said, "We're all put here for a reason
We all have our sunshine days"

Joy, your mother sounds like a wise woman.

There is a saying I know ...'Mother knows best'...and I'm glad you have listened to your Mum. Where would we be without them?
