What is in the air?
the earth is shifting it's scent
fertile smell of Spring
elusive but surely there
my poetic senses know

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

I do believe you are right my dear..

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

What a beautiful smell isn't it?

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Ah the breath and hope of Spring,
Reviving thoughts-to make our spirits sing
After a winter like ours, it is a sure bet,
Many are asking,"Is it over yet?"

Loved your refreshing, anticipating, and positive poem,

Nice one, Ellie. Interesting how you could recognize the seasons by the scent even if you didn't have other clues. Hope it's really coming soon!
