You're cruisin' for a losin'
And your ship is in the port,
...Shoulda' been a faithful "first mate"
'Stead you chose to be a "Sport"!
Well your ship has finally made it
And I know that you will find,
That the Treasure you were seeking--
You left it all behind!

You're cruisin' for a losin'
And what a loser you've become,
You cheated your own Loved Ones--
Turned our home into a slum.
Many times I tried to rescue
But my help was all in vain,
We coulda' sailed into the sunset
But you wouldn't hoist the main.

You're cruisin' for a losin'
Only this time all alone,
I'll no longer share your losses
For with you, I'm finally done!
Go board your fancy cruise ship
And a new dream I will forge,
I want no part of your Titanic
When they call, "All Aboard!"

No Better Place do I know
Than where Hearts knit as
one,
For in that grand
experience,
The Better ALL become.

God Bless us All!!!

David,
WOW, you said a mouthful here!  How quickly some people discard the riches they've been blest with to chase a dream which, more often than not, becomes their own personal nightmare. Good write!

Very nice, David, the grass is always greener, said with a smile, but also pointedly.  I like your style.

My dear friend; You did an interesting analogy here, Bro! Much truth and wisdom, Launching a new life is the only answer with God steering the ship! Love, Ellie
