Where’s My Head? Sittin on a barstool swayin with the breeze one eye squeezed shut is that your hand on my knee? Like the song goes your face don’t look too clear my trusty eye-patch in place let’s order another beer! Good ole eye-patch narrows double vision down to one But; I surely know, if I stand up gravity will have won! Probably fall flat on my nose snuggle up to the floor Dream of you on top of me as they toss me out the door! Good thing, Mama; bartenders are kind understand a fellows plight otherwise, I’d probably end up shaking to a judges pure delight! So please my new found darlin take me home safe to bed I promise I’ll be a good ole boy just please... don’t let me forget my head... yeah it’s right over there... see it? bleeding... "Tis ink coming from his arm, Captain!" |

Yep, I've lost my head that way a few times too! Thankfully, there was usually some helpful soul around to help me find it! (Once I spent a whole week-end searching) LOL, thanks for the great read! |

Wow this was a great poem bleeding. I loved all of it and especially the ending. The last line, haha....wow. Kinda me me chuckle a bit, but great........so great!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |
