I feel like a real lonely seeker Looking for happiness in all the wrong places Finding only lonliness So I feel like I'm some kind of lonely seeker Finding all kinds of lonliness In every aspect of my smile When I look in the mirror it's all I see When I look at others I find it too Deep lonliness falling through me I can't feel anything Because I'm empty No longing even for happiness anymore Everyone seems so happy today I wonder why There is nothing, absolutely nothing Happy I can see When in this state of mind Because what I am is just a lonely seeker. |

Unfortunately Joy, we are all alone really. You have yourself though and when you think about it, you are the one you have to wake up to everyday for the rest of your life, you are the one who has to deal with the consequences of your actions, you are the one that knows you best, and you are the only one you can't run away from...embrace the lonliness you feel and the friend you see in the mirror.....because that friend is the best you will ever have. Joy, Well Sheilan said it all and so brilliantly  . the only thing i will add is to never give up and fight for what is yours. and love yourself, for if you don't you'll never be able to love another. i hope things get better for u...may god's love show u the light...amy ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

Joy I have come to learn that happiness is a state of mind. I've had everything and I've had nothing. I've been happier with the nothing. I'm with Sheilan - look in the mirror - your best friend will be looking back at you. Also look inside yourself - there is happiness there waiting to be found. Excellent job of putting your feelings into words. |

Thank you all For replying with such care Just knowing everyone here Is there for me Makes me want to open up more and share All my hopes, dreams, And also despair. So thank you all for being here I think of you all all day long And when I look in the mirror tonight I'll think of your calling song That person staring back at me Is my best friend And comforter Someone I know quite well Inside and out She'll blink twice from the tears Forming in her eyes And her lips will move in a "thank you" To everyone at the Pub Who made her see what she already knew Hidden in the back of her mind That the person in the mirror That beautiful, caring, talented face Staring back so kind... Is me! Oh, and I think that lonliness Will not be there For a while now, As long as... As long as my reflection Cares. Thank you EVERYONE! It is nice to know you are there for me!!!!!!!!!
