My mystery man he calls to me,
From many miles away,
He isn't real I am afraid,
He is just fantasy.

He inspires me to greatness,
Always there with words of wisdom,
A visionary soul he is,
If only I could be with him.

He's an old soul, been here before,
He sings or croons to me,
His words are poetic and beautiful,
Just like song lyrics you see.

His warm arms would enfold me,
So safe and protected I'd feel in them,
Nothing could hurt me when I'm with him,
No pain would penetrate.

In my dreams he calls to me,
He tells me he is waiting,
He has crossed oceans to be by my side,
Together a life filled with love not hating.

But alas this man, my prince, does not exist,
Except in my heart and soul,
These memories of dreams untold,
Will stay with me until I'm old.

What the inner voice says will NOT disappoint the hoping soul.

Once in a while Sven they may come true, your positive attitude is the way to be, but reality usually shoots it down.... I have written romantic stuff before, you just weren't here then
