don't ask me where it came from..I truely do not know....

" Poison! " she cried.
"Poison is Your love!"
though your face not commonplace
like an angel's from above
You dared to take the love I gave
seeming kept Your heart from me
and now without you
still I ache
my heart is not yet free.
But oh, Your words, Your kiss, Your touch
as sweet as life to Me
and oft i dreamed of wedding bells
on the day You'd marry me
But You've been called away to war
that we may all be free
but now I sit....poisoned still....
crying now for Thee.

...  its sad the way war makes love so far removed...

sometimes theres an unexplained story within..this one must have escaped by way of your pen

Thanks everybody...I figured out where I got this from...well sorta....I was watching A Midsummer Night's Dream...and the cadence of all those laments before the faeries fixed things...stuck in my head....I had the first two lines of this poem up in my noggin for a week and ahalf before the rest and the sequal came out...poetry cannot be manufactured it would seem...

Beautiful, Sol. The love that waits for her hero to return...So romantic. Ellie
