Dreamscapes of illuminations
feathery light
billowing,
meander from willow
to pond.

Incandescent light beams
that float upon
the meadows breeze
releasing
colors of hues
yet to be born.

Floating gossamer wings
of scented petals
that waft
through beams of light
and dance
from glen to glen,
bright upon
the flight
of winged beauty
unseen
yet visible
to the traveler
with mystic eye.

Thus woven,
a tapestry
of neverending
design
that enfolds
with sense of freedom
dreamt,
and of hazy
irredescent light
that fills this
dream,
with undreamt of
imaginings.

Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart.

This is one of your best, I think, and that is high praise, because you are always good.     It's hard to pick out favorite parts, but these phrases sort of leap out at me - "releasing colors of hues yet to be born" and "hazy irridescent light that fills this dream, with undreamt of imaginings".  Such a lovely, ephemeral, and yes, dreamy quality to this!

very enjoyable read..like kcs, i marveled at such phrases like "colours of hue yet to be born", "unseen yet visible to the traveler", "neverending design that enfolds with sense of freedom dreamt"....

i do hope that someday i will be able to pen such dreamy soothing works as you

Ellie,
Once again you've woven a magical tapestry, the likes of which most cherished dreams flow from!
Wonderful! Dennis :^)

This is so soft and comforting. I just love all the imagery. This is a beautiful, warm poem that I really enjoyed reading.

You seem to me , dear Ellie as one who has been caught up into poet's Heaven- but who somehow is still able to share with us the wonderment of it all.  Your works of late are so superb & lofty--they can help but uplift our sagging spirits!
