I've been trying to write a special Christmas gift for a few very special friends of mine. I'm dedicating this to Kevin and Ria. I love you guys.  A new friend came my way last May, The timing perfect, a miracle you may say, He lifted my spirits when I was down, A smile I wore, Never a frown. Two months passed, The summer was blessed, Then a love was found, Sending my emotions to the ground. The friend I had, I was sure was gone, No time for me, It made me sad. But something happened I did not expect, My friend still was there, A friendship we did share. He shared with me his new love, Showing me unconditional love. Though I may not see him as much, A new friend I found from his touch, Friends with whom I can laugh and cry, Who love me for me, although I not know why. The love we share, Can never compare, To anything I've felt, You make my heart just melt. |
