Every time I think of him, My stomach turns in knots. I try hard to control it, But, it just won't stop. My mind just doesn't know, What it should be thinking. Hurry, can't you help me, I think I may be sinking. My heart is beating wildly, For me this is a first. If you don't do something soon, I think it will just burst. I lay in bed and think of him, I can't seem to sleep a wink. I've tried all I can think of, I've even counted sheep. So I'm asking very nicely, doc, Could you do something soon, This feeling won't go away, And I can hardly move, What? You cannot help me? Wait, what do you mean? You can't make it go away? It's the worst you've ever seen? There is one way, you say, To make this feeling stop? Well, doc, what is it? I'm just about to pop. Hey, where are you going? You can't just up and leave. I've looked so hard for the answer, Can't you help me, please? "Okay, I'll try to help," says doc, "But, it will have to be for life." Then he got down on one knee, And said, "Will you be my wife?" |
