I'm lost in thought, again, I see ....Another mem'ry calling me; I gently slip...into the past ....I'll be right back; I'll be real fast. I linger there...perhaps too long But can't you hear that lovely song? How can I leave before it's done? That soothing strain has just begun. What's that you say...it's time to go? There's work to do...of course...I know You go ahead...I'll be along; I need to hear just one more song. Another lovely melody Another mem'ry calling me. Denise |

I linger there...perhaps too long But can't you hear that lovely song? How can I leave before it's done? That soothing strain has just begun. Denise, this is a perfect poem...sweet and melodic...my two most favorite things in the world...poetry and music...very nice work!! She says baby, It's 3am I must be lonely, When she says baby, Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes, Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it.
