Who is this guy who speaks in rhyme?
I’ll tell you, if you have the time,
Not tall, or thin, or handsome, yet,
the words pour forth without regret,
he speaks of love, all kinds you see,
of shiny knights on bended knee,
and maidens fair with rosy cheeks,
of this and more the rhymer speaks,
the dark of night and ghostly shapes,
of blood and wounds with wicked gapes,
of unicorns and steeds that fly,
and moons and stars that dot the sky,
of lovers in the clutch of fate,
and rescuers that come too late,
he sees it all in his minds eye,
and from his pen the words do fly,
so take a pause, you’ve got some time,
check out this guy who speaks in rhyme

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

I would reply in rhyme
if I had the time
but I must admit it is getting late
to bed to sleep is now my faith
so before my eyes close
I ask that your poetic words flow
on and on my rhyming friend.
excellent poem and on that note I will end.

In rhyming you do take my gaze
To scenes once seen in other days,
And with your stories do impart
A sense of gladness to my heart.

Nice job!

I wonder if this man of rhyme
Could take a little bit of time
And talk about us dragons too?
We'd all be grateful, thankful true!
All of us would cheer if he
Would write of us in harmony--
Of how our wings compress and fold,
How our scales reflect so bold;
And how our tail can slice a tree
And how we just love broccoli...
The way we fly, the sun beside us,
Free and true, the wind to guide us;
Our horns that pierce the hardest stone,
Though we don't like such a tone;
The way we sleep, close in and cuddle,
The way we speak, from loud to subtle;

And how we hug, our own embrace,
To warm, by scales, your human face.

Little Spyro T. Dragon

Watching the poets
Passions' guardian dragon
Moves with the rhymes' flow.

Though my body be
Human, my heart and soul be
That of a dragon.

That rhyming man, He is so clever.
Rhyme to him seems no endeavor-
But a steady constant flow,
Of words mated with poetic glow.
Long live the Rhymer, his course persue
And visit us all, yes me & you!

Very Good,Peg!  I enjoyed your
lovely tribute to this Mystery man
among us.   David

to read this piece, you took the time,
but, why's your rhyme so much better than mine?...

thanks friends.

I listen to the rhyming man,
Because I am a likely fan.

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

Rhyming man, we don't compete,
Each one writes his word discrete,
Some are funny, some reflective,
Each written from ones perspective,
We write to share a thing or two,
And hope it's worthy when we're through,
May well become our very next post,
If it's our best, we may just boast,
Here we share a mutual respect,
Our praise for Rhyme we won't neglect!

Good one Pegasus!

Pegasus~

I could not let this chance go by
without offering up a poetic reply.
When poet's pens do thus inspire
my inkwell fills the quill with fire.

In thanking you, dear rhyming man
I really must pause to blink -
and render a rhyme most fitting,
in this inspirational ink-of-think.

*Thanks for the splash from your inkwell.

i love to read poems that rhyme
with everything in sight
i lost my mind on the way home
as i was thinking about the globe

i am trying hard to do it
the thing we all commit
i really don't know
if i should say no

or say yes
to impress
my fancy
in my pantry

i wish i had more time
to think sublime
but my hour is not much
to find plush

hey! this is fun
when i can  run
for the pleasure of it
but i gotta split

Your words pour forth a beatiful flow
My reply lost somewhere way below
To capture a feeling, and paint it so well
a magic you weave when your heart does tell

Beautifully done!   I applaud!

I find him in the "Corner Pub"
The words he rhymes I can't help but love,
So, here I am with my life's fate,
My reply buried 'neath the ^dreamkeepers^ gate.

you guys are cool I must admit,
into my heart you snugly fit,
on all this joy I cannot sit,
so kudos from this rhyming twit.

I posted a poetic response to "The Rhyming man".  You simply inspired me since I fall for a rhyme.  I posted it also in the corner pub.  Hope you enjoy it and find it thought provoking.
