Walking alone, on the beach in the sand, You hold my heart in the palm of your hand. You are so gentle, you handle it with care, You say that it's special, this love that we share. Soft, romantic music floating from the band, You hold my heart in the palm of your hand. I can't imagine my life any better, Than you and I living it together. Life is so precious, simple, yet grand. You hold my heart in the palm of your hand. Tell me you love me, tell me it's true, Tell me there's nothing you'd rather do. You took my dreams to a far distant land, Then broke my heart in the palm of your hand. You found someone else, who's life you will share, Our life wasn't special? I thought it was rare. You had all the chances one man could have, You hold my heart in the palm of your hand. You don't even know, You couldn't even see, What the lies and deceit would do to me. In my dreams now, I walk alone in the sand. No music at all floating from the band. Life is still precious, but not simple or grand, And you still hold my heart in the palm of your hand |

Wow! This is beautiful, yet very heart wrenching at the same time. Unfortunately you are not alone in ths scenario. I've been there too many a time. Your heart will come back to you someday and you will find someone new to give your heart to who won't smash it in the palm of his hand. |

Hm....first off...he's a bad bad bad bad poopie head!!!...(( yes I have young children *L* ))...secondly...no more dreamin bout walking on the beach...grab your sandals and some sunscreen hun...there are TONS of tan lonely highly paid and tenderhearted guys out on the sand...accidentally trip over a few *G* *hugs* Sol  |

Such a heart wrenching poem and beautifully written, but, my dear, you deserve better. I agree that he's not worth any tears.
