These three grandsons of mine, have the energy of a herd of kangaroos. They bounce and laugh and giggle, constantly. Their gleeful spirits are endless fun. Halloween costumes, and hordes of candy, are everywhere. The Hotwheel cars, I'm convinced, have mated in the night, and reproduced themselves, a hundredfold. I'm thoroughly enchanted, for a little while. After a whole week, I've run out of steam, and will be glad to see them all go home. But, oh, how wonderful, when they're here again, to see them romp and play, and kiss their dear faces once more! le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne con-nait point....the heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of.. |

I think there are very good reasons God gives young children to young parents. They do have a lot of energy, and it does take a lot to keep up with them! Yes, anything small definitely mates in the night, and crawls out of the toy box and spreads across the floor, too. It's so funny that you wrote this, mom! I just got back from a fun-filled evening at the Magic Jungle with all of your grandson's...and yes, they are full of energy...we could hardly keep up with them tonight!.....beth p.s. thank you, mom. |

Ellie, You have captured 'a week with the grandkids' wonderfully and I agree, toys seem to multiply! Good job writing. btw, do you know why God stopped grandmothers from giving birth? We'd lay them down and forget where we put em!!  |
