You came to me
during a trying time.
My head was confused
and my heart did pine.

My love was sincere,
but, could not overcome
the pain and the sorrow
which death had begun.

Though you were there when I needed
and treated me kind,
the acceptance I lacked
was far from my mind.

The hurt that I caused you
brought me much pain.
But, I couldn't evade it,
for it brought me great gain.

Gain of the knowledge and wisdom
to accept God's will.
And, finally reach the top
of that very high hill.

I've attained the peace
that I prayed to find.
My life is now balanced,
and, to new love, I'm no longer blind.

Maybe someday our paths
will again cross.
And, maybe we could try again
without risk of a loss.

If this never happens,
I want you to know,
I truly do love you
though I didn't let it show.

Sasikat, I share this pain with you. If only we could change the bands of time a little bit and omit our mistakes. I have no doubt that you will find this soul again, or one like it.

Sasikat, very often we push away someones love because we simply are not ready to accept it. Usually by the time we are ready that love is lost. Love is such a fragile thing. Strong when returned and easily broken when not. Take care dear one.

Sasikat, I love this poem it show much emotion and desire, nice job.

Here's your order of Nacho's sorry it's so a little the mouse that was following me threatened to bite me if I did not comply to his order of dropping pieces along the way, so I dropped the Nacho's...LOL
