I've Got a question |

I need to ask a question. It's about my line divisions. Is there anyone who might advise to help avert incisions executed prematurely thus curtailing longer verse? The width of window space to me obtrudes the minor curse of intersecting lines of good octameter that flow. The strain of breaking lines involuntarily must show. More than just annoying it infringes natural art. Should anything be broken that's not broken in the heart? This forum is the greatest and I love to banter here. So grant a friendly word to help preserve what I hold dear. If not, I'll have to butcher surgerizing as I sit and fracture my poetics just to make them somehow fit! (My computer/ browser will not let me adjust the width of the window where poetry is typed. I'm having to break lines unintentionally. Does anyone else have this problem? Any comment will be appreciated) thanks, Stephen. [This message has been edited by Stephen Jones (edited 02-27-2000).] |

Well, if I could address a problem as well as you! I like the meter on this! I sometimes have that problem, but I almost never type lines much longer than the space given. You can adjust the space where you can type, but the site has to give an option for that. Mail.com offers it, and that's the only way I know how to adjust the space. Sorry I couldn't help... Hi Stephen, Haven't run across that problem here yet, but if I do and figure it out, I'll let ya know. Enjoyed the poetic description of the troubles you have. |
