You don't know the pain. You think it's all a game. When you have a drink, Then, you start to think, That you can make it home. But, you begin to roam Into the other lane And through the endless rain, You spot a big bright light Shining through the blackest night. You try to fix your mistake, But, dear it's much to late. You end a person's life. Begin his loved one's strife. You thought it was a game. But, you don't know the pain. |

A few times this topic has hit home, my brother was killed by another driver, drinking on the drivers part was never proven, but debateable by some who where at the scene, so this touches me deeply. I sometimes picture his last sight, those black swirling treads, the piercing screech, the smell of rubber, a scene spinning within a split second,then the nothingness of death. I hope people will heed this message. |
