Beyond That Path

Lonely days, complete with empty,
mind travels a distance in thought.
Memories rise,
bringing light to these eyes
to a path by a stream, once was brought.

Hand in hand, tightening of hold,
leading the way tenderly.
Pulled tight to hips,
With lips gracing lips
in a picture of pure harmony.

In that moment, ever sealed
memory, indelible in heart.
Words cannot erase
the smile from this face,
in recall, of each kiss you impart.

Or a touch of the gentleness,
that arresting look, within eyes.
As you lean into me
I gaze your blue sea,
pure silence, except for the sighs.

Beyond that path was light of the moon.
It's magic, I held in my grasp.
Now the swaying of trees
from the gentlest breeze
has released you, and love from my clasp.

This was beautifully done. What a feeling, eh? That love you knew you had and once in a while gazing back on it with peace and fondness? Yes..This was awesome.
