You know those soft funny noises you hear,
in the middle of the night?
Elusive?
Then you convince yourself,
that it's just the house settling?

All those dust bunnies,
that seem to gather, only under the bed?
What are they? Really?
They, my friends, are your scattered dreams.

You see, the fairies, who dwell, under your bed,
Snatch those dreams,
the really bad, scary ones,
and wrap them up in Fairy Dust,
and replace them with Fairy dreams
of happy things.
That is why they are called,
the Fairy Dream Catchers
who live under your bed.
only of course,
if you believe in fairies!

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

So that's why my kids always have sweet dreams! They NEVER clean under their beds!

well you know I've got fairies all around my house.....behind the Hi-fi the telly under the sink....and now I know they're fairies I aint never going to clean.

What a charming poem....my daoughter, who is also an Ellie...is sometimes haunted by bad dreams, I shall share this with her, maybe she'll believe in fairies too. Thanks!

*pouts* I think all my faeries went on vacation..

That's okay though.. They'll be back soon ((I hope)) .. This is really artfully written.. I enjoyed it a lot and am going to share it with my niece and nephews..
