Once upon a time, deep in the forrest of long ago dreams, and magic musings, there reigned the Queen of Fairies, Lyria was she named. She reigned over all the mystical creatures, and fey fairies fair. She was a loving and kindly Queen. But her heart within was sad. For the one she dreamed would be her King, had wandered to the dark world, of empty dreams and lost hopes. Nary a spell or magic potion, could turn his heart to love, and bring him to her side again. So she pined for loves lost dreams, and ponds of crystal tears were shed, through meadow and through dell. Then she met Queen Butterfly, one soft spring morn in May. Monarch heard her deep lament. So as she gazed in tear filled pond, she saw a vision clear. I'll spin my magic silken thread, that's touched your crystal tears, around your loves cold heart. Twill make it sleep a magics rest, throughout a winters coldest turn. Then to emerge next springs first kiss, renewed and pure of heart. So spring came once again, on wings of mystic dawn, and there his heart emerged, as pure as lilies white, and as his eyes beheld, Lyria, his fairy Queen, his heart was filled to overflowing with her loveliness sublime. And so they reigned ten thousand years, in loves eternal bliss! |

This is enchanting! And I just love the alliteration in "fey fairies fair". A very nice read. Thanks. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Dear Ellie, Some how I missed this one- but I am glad I found it and could revive it. It is a magical tale, told in grand style. I think it would be the makings of a grand childrens book! David WOW- another day of life-and here among friends! Ain't God Grand! |
