Three dopey frogs froliced and played,
Stuck in the mud is where they stayed,
A Trio of Croakers, what a threesome they made!
Three Buds in the mud, that's what they were,
All out to find Life's little cheer,
Who woulda' thought they could find some here?
Sam was sitting on the right,
Flo was in the middle, smiling bright,
Bob on the left, had been there all night.
Sam said,"Hey, who drank all the beer?"
Bob just sat there with a sneaky sneer.
Flo said wisely, "Hey, Buds, I saved some here!"
Bob spoke up,"Now that we've had some brew,
Tell me you all what we're gonna do?
I just want to have some fun, 'fore this day is
   through!"
Sam said, "We could play leap-frog if we weren't
   so stuck,"
Flo said, "You're right, just look at my nikes
   ...YUCK!"
Bob sat hoping to spot a Bobwiser Truck!
The truck pulled up, they all hopped in,
Off to Tinseltown, a new life to begin.
They starred in the Comedy Club, and made 'em all
   grin!
Flo changed her name to "The Green Queen,"
Sam was the straight guy, the straightest ever seen,
Bob in his style favored Martin(old Dean).
Their rise to stardom was quite thrilling,
People'd pay a fortune 'cause their act was
   Chilling,
That's when each started fighting for top billing.
They argued and squabbled and fought, oh it was
   an ugly scene,
They soon recalled happier days in the mud, where
   none were ever mean.
Three heads are better than one, so they agreed to
bill it ,"Two Funny Frogs and their Queen."
Thus three happy Hoppers who to show biz have been
   a little green,
Came into their own with more Greenbacks than they'd
   e'er seen,
And Flo bought her a sequinned Dress, the green one
   of which she dreamed!
Some say it was the swamp gas or maybe a vision,
The three of them shared, saw Fortune, Fame and
   Division,
But their simple life and great Friendship needed
   no revision!

First off, I would like to welcome these three frogs to passions. I hope we see more from you. Second, Lady Lost, you may post as many responses as you wish. I am very sure they will jump for joy . Leaping over to the poem, it was quite amphibious, jumping from muddy pond to tinsel town. And this verse is very deep in mud and at times in thought. This is and always will be a frog's poem, so it's hard to make a judgement, but save some of that brew for MOI! Kermy loves it.

Wow, this was a delightful read.  How I love comic verse.  It immediately inspired me to write a poem about frogs from a different angle.  I have posted it here on The corner pub.  Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, and welcome to the forums!

Thank you are for your warm reception to the Pub(our kind of place-hee hee). We are happy to see we started something-who knows where it may take us. Thank you BSC & Stephanos for your contributions to the saga too.
