Writer's Blocks...On a Sand Foundation - I

I spit a few words
onto the paper.
The result...

wet paper.

***

Writer's Blocks....On A Sand Foundation - II

Watching helplessly
words floundering
in the backtow
screaming tonelessly

Further out they drift
mouths in mime agape
help....us....above
.....this....rift.....

Watching helplessly
words surrendering
to swallow's wet grave

In silence, I wave.

Music, tonal clear & pure,
Caresses the harshest of curves.

But it's fun writing about not being able to write!

Thank you Jon!

Interesting how we torture ourselves about this, when clearly the words are there.  You found an interesting way to get around the problem.

I have written many writer's block poems and you are right...it seems a bit silly but it's the way I get around the block. Just goes to show the words are really there, maybe not the words we want to write, but they are there none the less
