Sitting legs crossed on a chair,
my puny hands stretched out
in search for companionship

Everyone chats animatedly,
their gestures aplenty,
too busy to care

Kaile,
A sharp contrast between the lonely and the busy blind, But the gulf is not as big as it may seem. Time to build a bridge! Thoughtful poem.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Kaile; How about you go over and just say "Hi!"....good job here. ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Kaile,

Oh hon. I truly know this feeling. I know how hard it is to just say hi. A friend of mine once told me when I was keeping to myself to just place myself in the area where the crowd is at and smile. I'm sure you have a beautiful smile. Someone will surely see it and want to say hi back to the person behind the smile.

In a crowded room
your verse reaches out to me,
finding a new friend.

I so enjoy reading your work, kaile.
