i shouldnt post this as its such a babbling effect..but with a title of warning as such..perhaps you'll read it openly and forgive the very nature of it! the heart is a bit sporatic at times..hence the occassional rhyme, and the stop-and-go of it..  i hope its not TOO terrible! dg------------------------------------------------- i was in the area, i passed the street where i would have turned to meet you at your door... i went about my business that day and knew that i would pass that way again... but i wouldnt stop. i lingered-- in my heart. i made the turns and stopped to knock-- in my mind. and you were there and opened the door before i could finish the note i would leave-- but you werent. and i didnt... i know you and i need different things. i'm sure you and i will be fine in time, this way... but i miss your eyes i still taste your kiss i miss your arms and passion bliss i miss your warmth your breath on my neck your smile, your wit and i have to bet you miss something about me too... there wasnt time to call it love! but a short-lived momentary matter-of-fact passionate sort of thing, a what-do-you-call-it by societies mind-- a relationship sort of thing? and here is where i sigh... i sit to think upon my thoughts-- cushion not so fluff... i'll be myself again in time and you'll be on your way. i dont know the thoughts upon you or the things that you wont say-- but i was in the area and i thought of you that day... -dgvarner |
