I had a friend that I thought was real. I loved the way he made me feel. When he was around my face would glow. My real feelings I tried not to show. I trusted him and let my guard down. A heart to break is what he found. I heard what he said. He did't think i knew. He did't seem to care that our "friendship" was through. When i cried he just laughed. Would this pain never pass? He was a "friend" That I thought I knew. "POOKIE" This broken heart is the works of you. Boy, do I hear you. I`m new on this site and it`s helpful to see poems like yours as I realize many people turn to writing to express these sort of emotions. Sounds like it turned out ok though! |
